At Sun Rich, we strive to seek talent that has a real passion for our products combined with the business skills to be successful working in our culture of continuous improvement.We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Worker to join our team in Richmond, BC.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for working on the fruit lines and conducting order building duties.Responsibilities:Order building; pick and pack orders.Ability to read and review paperwork for allocation of products.Receiving, stowing, and tallying inventory.Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.Supporting and leading process for chemical barrel changes to support operation.Operate walkies, carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move large quantities of merchandise and load trucks.Lifting and moving pails of products - By following safe lifting and bending techniques, Team Members are required to lift, pull, or push pails of product that weigh up to 50 pounds; Load boxes on pallets for shipment.Assembly Crew Helper - Aid with daily requirement of production; assist with set-up for warehouse; housekeeping duties including removal of garbage, sweeping, and maintaining a clean work area.Required Skills and Experience:Experience working in a food processing environment would be an asset.Must be comfortable working in a freezer (cold environments).High school or equivalent diplomaForklift license is a must-have.Attributes:Positive attitudeDependable and adaptable with a good work ethic, and a high degree of coordination and manual dexterityAbility to work in a team environment.Desire to do excellent work.Ability to follow safe work procedures and always work safely.Schedule:Shift days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, FridayStart time: 5:00 AMOff Days: Tuesday and Saturday (May be required to come in based on business needs)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $19.00-$22.00 per hourBenefits:Casual dressDental careEmployee assistance programExtended health careOn-site parkingRRSP matchVision careSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftApplication question(s):Are you comfortable working in a cold enviornment?Candidates must be comfortable with the 5:00 AM shift start time and the designated shift days.
